Description

The Round House is an estate cottage built in the late 19th century or very early 20th century, with a mid-20th century extension. It features a red brick structure topped with a thatched conical roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a circular plan. It includes casement windows with diamond leaded glass, a 5-light canted bay window with a rectangular panel displaying a crown monogram, and one segmental dormer window on each quarter. There is a mid-20th century lean-to porch with a 6-panel door. At the top of the roof, there is a stack with a circular base and four clustered flues.
