Description

Chapel Lodge is an estate cottage likely built in the late 17th century and refurbished in the late 19th century. It features brick construction with a rendered south gable-end and a black pantile roof. The building is single storey with an attic. The south gable-end is painted to resemble a timber frame, and it has casement windows with leaded glazing. The north gable-end has a crow-stepped design built on top of tumbling-in, with a moulded brick peak finial. Decorative barge boards adorn the south gable-end and the east porch. There is a gabled dormer on the west side and a stack on the east side.
