Description
The Lodge is a two-storey brick building dating from around 1830, likely designed by J.C. Buckler. The facade features a pair of polygonal angle turrets flanking a central four-centred doorway, which is topped by a rectangular hood mould. The turrets have two loops and two small square windows with chamfered reveals. Above the doorway, there is a niche containing a statue. The building is adorned with moulded brick arched corbel tables and a crenellated parapet. At the rear, there are four two-light mullion and transom windows next to a large blocked archway. The structure has two end stacks with pairs of angled shafts, and there is a later addition on the east side.
