Description
Bentries Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the early 19th century for its front range, with work from the late 16th or early 17th century at the rear, and a mid-19th century wing on the left side. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a hipped plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and features a three-window range on the first floor, with sashes that have glazing bars in flush frames. The ground floor includes an early 20th-century flat-roofed extension with large pane sash windows, a central four-panel bolection moulded door, and a rectangular fanlight. The earlier part of the farmhouse is still visible at the rear, where some timbering is exposed internally. The farmhouse is situated on a moated site.
