Description

No 11 Market Hill is a late 17th century house that is timber-framed and plastered. It has undergone significant alterations and renovations in the 20th century. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring three windows on both the south and east fronts, which are fitted with 20th century casements. The ground floor includes an early 20th century corner shop front. The roof is tiled and has a blocked gabled dormer on the east front. Adjoining to the north is No 3 Church Street, which has a 19th century red brick front with casement windows that have segmental arched heads, some of which include leaded lights. This property is part of a group of listed buildings that includes all the listed buildings in Market Hill, Church Street, Station Road, and Well Lane.
