Description

No 15 Market Hill is a late 16th century or early 17th century timber-framed and plastered house, which likely includes the adjoining house to the south (No 16). The building has two storeys and one window range. On the first storey, there is a double-hung sash window with glazing bars set in a flush cased frame. The ground storey features a small 19th century shop window with pilasters and a cornice. The doorway also has pilasters and a cornice. The roof is covered with slate. This building is part of a group with all the listed buildings in Market Hill, Church Street, Station Road, and Well Lane.
