Description

Mill Farmhouse is a former farmhouse associated with the windmill, dating from the early 19th century. It is two storeys high and represents a late example of a three-cell lobby-entrance plan. The building is constructed of red brick and features a black-glazed pantiled roof. The internal chimney stack has a plain red brick shaft, and the gables are tumbled. At the rear, there is a one-and-a-half storey lean-to. The ground storey has 20th-century standard casement windows set into older surrounds with gauged white brick heads, while the upper storey features three-light casement windows with a single bar. An enclosed gabled porch is also present. The farmhouse is included for its group value with the mill.
