Description

Knowle Lodge is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is two storeys tall and features a double front. The structure is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a hipped slate roof and two chimney stacks located at the rear. The front has a three-window range with small-paned sash windows set in flush frames. The entrance consists of recessed double doors, each with three sunk panels, and a rectangular fanlight above. The door surround is decorated with bolection moulding and reeded jambs, topped with a moulded pediment that has later fluting.
