Description
Tylers Lodge is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features roughcast render and a slate roof, with its alignment approximately northeast-southwest and a northwest aspect. There are external chimney stacks at both ends of the building. At the rear, there is a lean-to range, which may be original, with an external chimney stack at the northeast end. The house is two storeys high and has a six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed, located under a shallow hood. On each floor, there are two early 19th-century double-hung sash windows, each consisting of 12 lights. The roof is fully hipped. Although the material of the walls could not be determined, the presence of external chimneys suggests that the structure may have timber framing.
