Description

HOXNE SOUTH GREEN TM 17 SE 4/128 Barn loom west of Red House Farmhouse (formerly listed with 29.7.55 Red House Farmhouse) II GV Barn. C17. Timber framed, mainly weatherboarded, the roof clad in corrugated asbestos. 5 bays; a central cart entrance with C17 gabled porch to east. An intact frame with middle rail and reversed braces at the angles. Most of the curved tie beam braces in the open trusses remain. Roof has 2 rows of butt purlins with arched wind-bracing between.
