Description

This is an early 19th-century house on Lowgate Street. The walls are constructed of clay lump, with a pebbledash and colourwash finish. The roof is covered in black-glazed pantiles. The house is two stories high and has a single-window front. To the left is a four-panelled door with a plain overlight, and to the right is a late 20th-century plate-glass casement window. The first floor has a two-light 19th-century casement window. The roof is gabled. The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
