Description

15 and 17 Lowgate Street are a pair of houses built around 1820. They are made of rendered and colourwashed clay lump and feature a roof covered with black-glazed pantiles. The houses are two storeys high and have a two-window range. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century plank doors, which are separated by two 3-light casement windows. The first floor has two 2-light casement windows. The houses have a gabled roof with a central ridge stack. There is a late 19th-century two-storey extension that abuts the south gable and has a single-window range. The interior has not been inspected.
