Description

The barn and stable, located 100 meters west of Boundary Farmhouse, date from the late 16th century or early 17th century. The structure consists of a three-bay barn and a lower stable with a loft above, which is likely from the same period. Both buildings are timber-framed and covered with weatherboarding, and they have corrugated iron roofs that were probably originally thatched. The barn features good arch wind-braced studding and a wind-braced clasped purlin roof. The stable underwent significant alterations in the 19th century and is in poor condition as of the date of the survey.
