Description
Ivy House is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It has a timber frame and is plastered, topped with a thatched roof. The building features a two-cell lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high. The central entrance has a recessed boarded door and 20th-century casement windows. There is an axial ridge stack, and the gable ends display exposed plates and purlins. To the right, there is a low one-storey gabled kitchen bay added later, which includes a 19th-century small pane casement. On the left end, there is a clay lump and pantiled lean-to addition with a door at the front. At the rear, there is a brick lean-to addition. The interior has not been inspected.
