Description
The former groom's house and coach house, located about 30 meters east of Park House, was built in the early 19th century for the Harrison family. The building features a white brick front and red brick at the rear, topped with hipped slate roofs. It is a two-storey structure with 16 bays, flanked by one-storey bays. The central entrance has a boarded door with small 4:4 pane sash windows on either side, all set back with segmental heads. There is a plat band at the first floor level, which includes a 4-light window. The eaves are accentuated by projecting brick courses, and there is a tall bay that is hipped at the front. Flanking the entrance are double doors with gauged brick segmental heads, each with separate hipped roofs. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with Park House.
