Description
This barn, located 50 meters northwest of Tostock House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of flint rubble with gault brick dressings and features parapet gables with tumbled-in brickwork. The roofs are covered with pantiles. On the north side, there are seven bays of flint walling to the left of a porch and four bays to the right. The porch, which also has a parapet gable, includes horizontally-sliding framed and boarded doors. There is another porch on the south wall with a weather-boarded gable. Each gault brick pier has three small circular ventilation holes. An integral range of similar design extends southwards from the eastern end of the barn. The barn is included for its group value.
