Description
The barn, located approximately 30 metres north-east of Green Farm House, dates to 1715. It is constructed of coursed flint with brick dressings and has a pantile roof. The barn has five steads, with brick ventilation slits. A brick porch extends from the second bay of the west front, rising above the gable eaves with tumbled brickwork. A stone plaque above the porch is inscribed with sun rays and the date RL/1715, with a small door positioned below. A decorative honeycombed lozenge pattern is visible on the south gable, and three slits are present on the west gable. Internally, the barn features a three-tier butt purlin roof with collars and ties; the rafters have been renewed. The barn is included in the listing for group value.
