Description

Well Cottage is a house from the early 18th century, constructed of brick and covered with pantiles. It features two bays, stands two storeys tall with an attic, and has internal gable end stacks, one of which has been renewed. The building has gable parapets and a platband. The windows include three-light casements in the first bay on both the ground and first floors, two-light casements in the third bay on both floors, and a single light window above the door in the second bay. The entrance is set within a single-storey gabled porch made of brick and covered with pantiles, featuring outer double-leaved doors. There is a small blocked square window to the left of the left bay. A 20th-century single-storey extension has been added to the left return, made of flint and brick mosaic with brick dressings and covered with concrete tiles. The rear and left gable are finished in coursed brick and flint mosaic. There are small windows to the left of the first-floor rear and in the attic of the left gable. The right gable has a brick flush stack and a very small attic window.
