WETHERINGSETT-CUM-BROCKFORD PAGE'S GREEN TM 16 NW 3/128 Green Farmhouse -

-- II Former farmhouse. A single C16 range, evidently in 2 phases. Later wing to rear on left. Timber framed and rendered, pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. Various casement windows, some old. French doors to left of centre. Internal stack with rebuilt axial shaft. A further stack against the rear wall. Mid C20 rear lean-to entrance addition. Interior. Considerable mid C20 renovation, most of the structure concealed. Older part comprises 4 bays to left of stack. Hall has chamfered axial floorbeam and studded service partition with evidence for doorways. Upper room at left end has C17 doorway with cyma moulding and elaborate stops. Queen-post roof over older part, except in roof bay at extreme left where there are clasped purlins. The bays of the queen-post roof do not fully correspond with the bays of the wall structure.
