Description
Deerbolts Cottage is a former farmhouse dating from the late 16th century. It is constructed of timber framing, now rendered, with a thatched roof. The house originally comprised three rooms arranged in a row. It has two storeys. Most of the windows are casement windows with small panes of glass; some are old. A single window on the first floor to the left is a standard casement without glazing bars. A 19th-century plank door is set within a 20th-century open-fronted gabled porch. The original internal stack has been rebuilt. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected.
