Gable end of forward wing has cut-down remains of external stack. C20 doors in the gable ends to left and right, the former with a timber trellis porch. Interior. Considerably modernised, especially on upper floor where most of the timbers are concealed except in the rear wall. 2 bays to right of stack: widely- spaced full-height studding; exposed joists, set flat, on ground floor, a cross-partition between the bays removed. The 2 bays to left of stack also have widely-spaced full-height studs, the wallplate set lower; inserted upper floor with ogee-moulded square joists, perhaps late C17. Newel stair.
