Description

The wellhead located to the north of Beehive Cottage dates from the 19th century and is constructed of red brick in a header bond pattern. The circular walling of the well rises and tapers to a domical head. There is an opening facing Beehive Cottage that features a boarded door with strap hinges. Inside, there is an iron axle with a chain attached to a bucket. This structure is included for its group value.
