Description

Nebbits Farmhouse is a former farmhouse, likely dating from the early 17th century or earlier, and altered around 1880. The building has two storeys and originally comprised three rooms arranged in a lobby-entrance plan. The timber frame is now largely concealed by a brick casing applied around 1880, featuring bands of red brick. The roof is covered in plain tiles and has spiked ridge tiles. A prominent axial chimney, constructed of red brick, is visible. It features two square shafts closely spaced together, with a moulded cornice at its base and a sunk date panel positioned beneath. The 19th century windows are casements with three lights, the ground floor windows having segmental brick heads. A 19th century four-panelled door is located at the lobby-entrance. The interior remains unexamined.
