Description
Lyngh's Farmhouse is a former farmhouse, likely dating from the 16th century. It is a single storey building with attics and features a three-cell cross-entry plan. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, resting on a tall tarred brick plinth. The roof is slated, having originally been thatched, and there are two 19th-century gabled casement dormers. The farmhouse has an axial chimney made of 17th-century red brick, along with a 17th-century internal end chimney on the left side. The windows are 19th-century casements, and there is a boarded 19th-century door located at the cross-entry position. The interior has not been examined but is believed to have good exposed framing.
