4/12 Former dairy range - immediately east of Brundish House

GV II

Former dairy range to Brundish House, now a farm outbuilding. Mid C16 with later alterations. Timber framed and weatherboarded, the roof clad in corrugated iron sheeting. 2 storeys. The frame is in 5 bays, the ground floor studding now gone. To the south are 4 original first floor windows, 3 complete with diamond mullions; evidence for a ground floor diamond-mullioned window with shutter slide at west gable end. Floor altered but the plain heavy joists in bays 2 and 3 from the west are original. Roof intact: clasped purlins, cranked wind-bracing. Included for group value.
