Description
Cloverdene is a building located on the west side of Debenham High Street. It originally formed the upper end of an adjoining house and has since been converted from two cottages into a single house. The core of the building dates back to the late 16th or 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame, with the front covered in red brick and a brick outshut at the rear. The roof is pantiled, with glazed black tiles on the raised front slope.
The building has two slightly inset windows on the upper floor, which are 4-paned sashes set under flat rubbed brick arches. The ground floor windows are fitted with paired panelled shutters. There is a central inset stuccoed panel on the first floor, and two doorways that feature inset 4-panel and semi-glazed doors. The interior has not been examined.
