Description
The Old Manor House is a 16th-century building that was originally three cottages, now reduced to two. The west end features a timber frame with stone infilling, and part of the first floor is tile hung. The main section is constructed of stone with red brick dressings and quoins. At the east end, there is a gable with moulded bargeboards, a pendant, and a blocked lunette window in a brick surround. The central porch, made of stone and brick, reaches the full height of the building and has a four-centred archway, sun spandrels, and brick dripmoulds. A projecting crow-stepped chimney breast is located at the back, complete with a tiled shoulder. The building has two storeys and features four windows.
