Description
Nos. 2 and 3 Cross Green is a building originally constructed as one house in the 16th century, now divided into two. It features a timber frame with roughcast render, although much of the render has been removed. The roof is covered with pantiles and the building has two storeys. There are five windows, which are 19th-century small-paned sashes set in flush frames. On the ground floor, there is a four-light casement window on the left, possibly a former shop window, and a three-light small-paned casement on the right. The building also has two four-panel doors and an internal stack with a heavy axial shaft. Number 2 includes a two-storey red brick rear lean-to. The interior has not been examined.
