  1. Part of a range of C17 timber-framed and plastered houses with jettied upper storeys which included Nos 25 to 39 (odd). Altered in the C18 and later. 2 storeys. 4 window range double-hung sashes, in flush cased frames, the windows to Nos 27 and 29 are now without glazing bars and No 31 has one C18 window with glazing bars. The ground storey has C20 shop fronts. Roofs tiled.

Nos 19 to 47 (odd) form a group with Nos 1 to 9 (odd) Silent Street.
