Description
Nos 92 to 96 on High Street are part of a range of 17th century timber-framed and plastered houses that were re-fronted in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The buildings are two storeys high, with Nos 92 and 94 featuring a two-window arrangement, original double-hung sash windows with thin section glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. There is a central round-headed panel on the first storey that is likely a blocked window. No 96 also has a two-window range with double-hung sashes that have vertical glazing bars. The ground storeys of these buildings have 20th century shop fronts, and the roofs are tiled, also from the 20th century. These properties, along with Nos 90 to 96 (even), 100, 102, 106, and 112, form a group with Nos 73 to 77 (odd).
