Description
No. 112 High Street is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house that was re-fronted in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has three storeys, with the second storey added in the 18th or 19th century. The first storey jetties out at the front facing St Michael's Lane. The building features a one-window range on the north-west front and a two-window range on the north-east front, with double-hung sash windows that have vertical glazing bars in flush cased frames. The roof is slate, gabled at both the north-west and south-east ends. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 90 to 96 (even), 100, 102, 106, and 112, alongside Nos 75 to 77 (odd).
