Description
No. 86 Newland Street is an 18th-century house that features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with a red brick front that includes a parapet and a raised brick band. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars set in plain reveals, topped with gauged brick arches. Two of the windows are three-light. The ground floor includes a 20th-century shop and a cart entrance at the south end. The roof is double-pitched and tiled.
