Description

41 and 43 St Nicholas Street is an early to mid-19th century house made of grey gault brick, which is now painted. The building has three storeys and features a four-window range. The second storey has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with stucco cornice lintels on stub brackets. The ground storey includes a 20th-century shop front. The outer ends of the front display plain pilasters, and the roof is covered with slate. Nos 19 to 47 (odd) form a group with Nos 1 to 9 (odd) Silent Street.
