Nos 51 to 55 on Berners Street are a terrace of three houses built in the early to mid-19th century, constructed from white brick that has been painted. The houses are two storeys tall and have cellars. Each house features a two-window arrangement with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with stucco cornice lintels. The doorways are adorned with rectangular fanlights and stucco doorcases that have pilasters and cornices. The roofs are covered with slate and are stepped up the slope of the street.
