Description

Nos 85 and 87 Berners Street are a pair of mid-19th century houses built from white brick. They rise five storeys and include basements. Each house features a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have single vertical glazing bars set in plain reveals. The windows on the ground and first storeys are adorned with stucco cornices supported by console brackets. The doorways are framed by stucco pilasters with foliated capitals and heads, topped with cornices. The roof is covered in slate and has a modillion eaves cornice.
