Description
This barn, located immediately adjacent to Hor's Farm, dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It features a timber frame, with some areas covered in old render and others clad in 20th-century weatherboarding, topped with clay pantiles. There is a 19th-century red brick extension on the east end. The interior consists of four bays, with the eastern bay originally partitioned off and ceiled to create a stable and hayloft. The barn has full height studs and arched braces at the corners. The trusses include long arched braces that remain in place. The roof is divided into four bays that align with the wall-bays, supported by two rows of unstepped butt purlins and windbraces.
