Description

Nos 56 to 58 on Thoroughfare are early 18th century, two-storey buildings with timber framing. No 56 has a brick face that is colourwashed, while Nos 57 and 58 are lined with stucco to resemble ashlar. The roofs are covered with pantiles. There are four sash windows with glazing bars and flush frames, although No 56 has altered glazing. No 56 features a passageway on the left side. No 57 has a 19th-century wooden shop front, while No 58 retains its original bow-front shop front, complete with glazing bars. These buildings form a group with Nos 56 to 59.
