Description

No 2 Thoroughfare is an 18th-century, three-storey building constructed of stucco on brick, designed to resemble ashlar stone. It features pilasters and a deep, enriched cornice at the second-floor cill level. The building has a parapet that ends in the remains of another cornice. There is one sash window on the first floor, which includes glazing bars and an architrave. The early 19th-century shop front has an entablature but has been somewhat altered. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 6, Nos 8 to 10, and Nos 12 to 16 Thoroughfare.
