Description

No. 9 Thoroughfare is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall, constructed from Suffolk yellow brick. It features a mutule cornice and a slate roof. The facade includes three sash windows with glazing bars and flat arches. The shop front, which dates from the mid-19th century, is made of wood and has consoles beneath the cornice. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with a reeded solid frame, although it currently has a plywood front sheet. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 6, Nos 8 to 10, and Nos 12 to 16.
