Description

Nos 48 to 50 on Mere Street are 18th-century buildings constructed in 1759 and finished in stucco. They feature five first-floor windows with near flush frame sash, arranged in a two-one-two grouping, now with central glazing bars only. The buildings have a bracket eaves cornice. The ground floor includes a modern shop front on the left and a stone rusticated bank front. Nos 41 to 54 on Mere Street form a group.
