House, now two dwellings. Early C19, with projecting bay added to front in late C19; subdivided in late C20. Red brick with gault-brick facade; front roof of slate, rear pantiled with partly rendered ridge stack. EXTERIOR: 2-storey 3-bay front, the right bay projecting: 2-storey single bay further right. In angle to left of projecting bay is 6-panel door with geometric overlight behind early C20 glazed porch. One 6/6 unhorned sash to left with rendered and painted skewback arch. Two similar sashes to first floor. Projecting bay has canted corners and tripartite windows on both floors with glazing bars disposed 2/2, 6/6, 2/2: one 6/6 unhorned sash on each floor of return with main front. Moulded and dentilled eaves cornice. Shrimp Cottage occupies single bay to right: half-glazed C20 door with small casement to right; 3/3 unhorned first-floor sash; flat dormer with C20 top-hung casement.
