Description

The stable block at Grundisburgh Hall, originally serving as a house and estate office, dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed of red English bond brick and features a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high.

On the entrance front, there are French windows with a cambered head positioned to the right of the centre. To the far left, there is another doorway with a flat head. Slightly left of centre, a 3-light 20th-century casement window with a cambered head is situated, accompanied by two 2-light windows and one single-light window; the lower of the 2-light windows was originally a doorway that is now partially blocked. To the right of this, there is another 2-light window. The extreme right side features a 2-light 19th-century window with a chamfered ashlar surround, which is painted.

On the first floor, there are three 3-light casement windows and two 2-light casements on the left. The right gable end has a glazed 20th-century door on the left and a staircase window on the right, with a 2-light first floor casement to the left. The gable is shaped with convex lower edges and an ogee top, adorned with blank roundels.

Inside, the building features chamfered ceiling beams on both the ground and first floors, and the roof consists of five bays.
