Description

This is a late 18th-century building on Flixiton Road. It is a two-story structure built of red brick, with a decorative wood cornice, a first-floor band, and a plinth. The roof is covered with pantiles, and there are three windows on each floor. The upper-floor sash windows have cambered flat arches, and are fitted with louvred and panelled shutters. The sash windows have glazing bars, set back within recesses that accommodate the shutters, topped with arches. The ground-floor windows are three-light windows with glazing bars, and are the same width as the recesses above. The house features a four-panel door set within a wooden doorcase with panelled reveals. A porch was formerly present. Numbers 14 to 20 (even) form a visually cohesive group.
