Description

Twincott and Garage, occupied by Theobalds Coaches, is a timber-framed building dating from the 16th to 17th century, featuring a cross wing at the north end. The building was completely refronted in the 19th century, with the main block constructed of red brick and standing two storeys high. It has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The cross wing includes a 19th-century shop front on the ground floor, and its gable is adorned with ornamental bargeboards. The roofs are tiled, and the main block has a large rectangular central chimneystack. There is one window on the first storey that rises to a gabled half dormer.
