Description

White Cottage is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house located on the west side of Little St Mary's in Long Melford. The building features a later lean-to addition with a pantiled roof at the north end of the front. It is two storeys tall and has a four-window range with casement windows. The entrance is through a boarded door. The roof is thatched, steeply pitched, and hipped at both the north and south ends, with a central chimney stack.
