Description

This is a group of timber-framed houses with external features dating to the 18th or early 19th century, located on Liston Lane in Long Melford. The houses comprise Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. The ground stories are faced with painted brick, while the upper stories are pebbledashed. The windows are largely double-hung sashes with glazing bars, although some first-story windows have leaded casements. The doors are four-panel in design. Nos. 1 and 2 have tiled roofs, and Nos. 3, 5, and 6 have pantiled roofs.
