Description

Lyston House is a mid 19th century house made of grey gault brick, located on the west side of Little St Mary's in Long Melford. The building is two storeys tall and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in flush frames with stucco lintels. On the ground floor, there is a small former 19th century shop front at the south end, which includes wooden pilasters and a cornice. The central doorway is adorned with a stucco architrave and cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
