Description

Long Melford Saddlery is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered building that has undergone significant external alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It stands two storeys tall and features a two-window range on the first storey, with double-hung sashes that have single vertical glazing bars. The ground storey includes a small shop. The roof is tiled and dates from the 20th century. Inside, the original 16th-century framing is exposed.
