Description

15 and 16 Cross Street are a probable 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof. The building has a cross wing at the north end. It has undergone significant alterations and some walls have been refaced in brick. The upper storey of the cross wing formerly projected but is now underbuilt by a modern shop. Timber framing is visible on the upper storey of the cross wing. The main block was refronted in the 18th century, featuring a two-window range with sash windows containing glazing bars.
