Description

No 12 on Cross Street is a building from the 17th century that has been significantly restored and modernized. It may have originally been the crosswing of a larger house that has since been demolished. The north side of the building is now faced with modern brick, while the south side has been replastered. The structure is two stories tall, with a timber frame and plastered exterior, featuring upper floors that have wavy edge boarding. The upper storey projects on the south front, supported by curved brackets. The windows are casement style with glazing bars, and there is a modern chimney stack.
